The Time Capsule Memorial & Monument
The Foundation guarantees that regardless of total participation there will be at minimum a suitable memorial and monument erected and scaled to the required specifications stated by all participation obtained during the 2012 P.E.A.C.E. Project initiative and time capsule collection phase.
THE ULTIMATE SCALE and FINAL THEME OF THE CAPSULE MEMORIAL WILL BE DETERMINED and ESTABLISHED BY THE PROJECT PARTICIPANTS via an open voting process when you first sign up to participate. The voting poll for this process will remain open until June 20th, 2010, at which time we will inform all participants of the final memorial plans by posting full details here on this page of the project's website.
The time capsule memorial is the total accumulation of any physical monument(s) that will store within them the physical time capsule(s) containing all of the Participants Legacy Kits and other contributions including the collection of thoughts, ideas and plans for our shared vision of peace and planetary sustainability. This hermetically sealed time capsule monument will mark the point in time when concerned citizens of humanity stood together and took real and significant action toward achieving peaceful world change.
The final date for open participation in the current 2012 time capsule project and memorial is on December 31, 2011. This date may be extended by (3) three months once the theme of the memorial and volume of participation has been determined. Closing ceremonies may be planned for both the Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice of 2012, depending solely on the volume of participation.
Choosing The Memorial & Monument Theme:
Participants, in a democratic fashion, will choose the theme of the time capsule memorial – by a majority vote. When you sign up for your FREE Online Account, one of the questions you will answer will be whether you prefer a memorial based on the Great Pyramids (Giza Plateau Memorial), or whether you prefer the memorial to be a replica of the Great Mayan El Castillo Pyramid (El Castillo Memorial). Additional details can be accessed in our VIDEO Libraries & Resources for those who wish to learn more about these monumental wonders and how they relate to the suggested project theme.
Three primary factors were considered when selecting these two possible themes:
1. It is agreed by most, that these pyramids were receptacles of a sort, serving sacred time-honored cultural significance and/or they were built to sustain something sacred, such as, the Pharaohs in the afterlife. i.e., ... serving a time related purpose beyond their present existence.
2. Both the Great Pyramids and El Castillo have stood the test of time and natural erosion, as well as captured the fascination of humanity, much in a manner similar to what we hope to achieve with the Time Capsules and Legacies Memorial. Each of these landmarks, in their unique way, mathematically represent a testiment of natural time, of which the project dates are intrinsically related.
3. The Great Pyramids and the El Castillo Pyramid are likewise mathematically and geometrically ideal for administering the scale and variety of participatory desires that will arise as the project progresses. And yes, there also exist many metaphysical and other positive spiritual considerations, but none of an evil, immoral or unethical nature.
The size and location of the memorial will be determined on the number of project participants and ultimately, the amount of donations the Foundation receives. Keep in mind that the 2012 World P.E.A.C.E. Project is entirely funded by donations from individuals like you. We are a not-for-profit Foundation. The Foundation must take into account the cost of land on which to build the memorial, construction costs, administrative costs for this Web site, the cost to produce the time capsule kits, as well as the cost to maintain the memorial site for 50 years.
The Future ~ Looking Ahead 50 Years.
The memorial site, its structures, and the contents of each time capsule will be held in trust of the people and participants by the Foundation. Please visit our Mission Statement & Oath for additional information about the Code of Ethics and Practices of the Foundation, its staff and volunteers.
The time capsule contents shall be returned to the intended inheritors after the memorial’s opening ceremonies on June 21st, 2062. Six months prior to this date, the Foundation will begin the process of attempting to notify and contact the indicated inheritors and allowing claims for the capsule contents. Participants in the project will have the option to leave their Time Capsule & Legacy Kits to a loved one, future relative, or a specified institution, such as a university, a non-profit organization or a religious organization.
After your final submission and completion of the contents of your time capsule, you will receive an Official TCL Deposit & Claim Certificate. You will also be issued, via your online account, a unique validation code, which you will be required to inscribe on the Official Claim Certificate. The validation code is issued and sent to the participant via U.S. First Class Mail after the Legacy Kit has actually been completed and is ready for capsule insertion. When the inheritor of your capsule claims the contents 50 years later, they will need to present the Foundation with the Official Claim Certificate with the unique validation code inscribed . This method of validation and authentication serves in absence of being able to verify a participant's actual signature due to lack of physical presence.
IMPORTANT NOTE : The Legacy Kits and capsule contents are then released to any future relative or person in possession of the authenticated certificate. The claim process is really that simple, so be sure to properly validate your Official Deposit & Claim Certificates according to the instructions provided. It is your responsibility to ensure that the certificate is properly protected, securely stored, and passed on to the intended inheritor. Please recognize that the Foundation's responsibilities and capabilities will be extremely limited in regard to locating and notifying inheritors 50 years from now.
Thus, in recognition of the project objectives, take pride & value in your participation and act accordingly toward safeguarding your Official Certificate and make appropriate arrangements for others to be aware of its existence in the future. Pass it on as you would any other valued heirloom or keepsake so that the intended journey and purpose of your participation is completed 50 years from now.
